Built in 1992, the MS Lafayette was completely renovated in 2014. This dashing 2 decks are 90 meters long and 10 meters wide. It has 43 double or individual cabins which allow it to board up to 82 passengers. Its 20 crew members are assigned to the ship's navigation or hotel and catering.
The quality of the updating carried out and the level of services offered to passengers of the MS Lafayette have earned it the award of five anchors (river navigation stars).
The MS Lafayette offers cruises from 04 to 10 days from the half-timbered houses of Strasbourg to the canals of Amsterdam. The gentle nature of a river cruise offers passengers the magic of the vineyard hillsides, Ardennes forests and Dutch tulip fields.
Each stopover is made in the heart of the towns as close as possible to a first-rate historical heritage. If each space on board is designed to offer the best possible view of the outside, it becomes totally panoramic on the sun deck. Located at the very top of the ship, this deck, with its rows of deckchairs, marvelously combines relaxation and contemplation. Every morning, the on-board sports instructor organizes an invigorating gym session.
Located at the front of the upper deck, the lounge bar offers your favorite drinks, but also many activities: games, aperitifs and gala evening! At its center, the dance floor welcomes couples wishing to prolong the magic of truly wonderful days.
On board practical conveniences are not forgotten! Located next to reception, the on-board shop sells useful items, souvenirs and postcards.
It is between two beautiful rows of panoramic windows that guests sit in the dining room of the MS Lafayette. Pleasure is therefore ensured as much by the landscapes that pass by outside as by the menu offered by the chef. As on all its ships, CroisiEurope brilliantly plays the card of French gastronomy punctuated from time to time by the best specialties of the countries crossed.
The MS Lafayette lounge bar is much more than a pleasant place to drink! Passengers meet there to discuss and share their emotions. Friendships are made there regularly and that's also the magic of river cruises!
The 43 cabins of the MS Lafayette are spread over its two decks. The main deck has 27 double cabins and 2 single cabins while the upper deck accommodates 11 double cabins, 2 single cabins and a PMR cabin.
The cabins of the MS Lafayette all meet the CroisiEurope standard of comfort. They are all equipped with reversible air conditioning, a television, an internal telephone, a safe, 220 V sockets, free Wi-Fi, a shower room with WC, a a hair dryer, shower products and towels.
True to its environmental protection policy, CroisiEurope equips its ships with engines that meet the strictest European standards, hull paint without polluting components, water savers and an efficient wastewater treatment system.
When possible, the company uses a synthetic fuel, Gas to Liquid, and systematically imposes waste disposal on board its ships.
