Built in 2014, the MS Raymonde is 38.5 meters long and 5.07 meters wide. On board, eight professionals provide river navigation. In fact, the 22 passengers of the MS Raymonde benefit from a very top-of-the-range service.
The quality of the interior and exterior fittings and the level of services offered to passengers of the MS Raymonde have earned this pretty barge the award of five anchors (river navigation stars).
The boat is able to travel the network of canals that connect the Marne to the Rhine. These modest dimensions also make it a very friendly cruise ship on which crew and passengers quickly get to know each other.
When sailing, the sun deck and the pretty flower-decked terrace above the stern allow you to enjoy the landscapes and towns you pass through in the open air. Early risers will appreciate the gymnastics session organized by the instructor and can then join the jacuzzi installed at the front of the upper deck.
Are the stopovers dedicated to discovery? The arrival in a city over the water is in itself an experience to live. The prelude to a program put together by the hand of a master: excursions, visits and bike rides (bicycles are provided by the board) allow you to appreciate the heritage and the products of the terroirs crossed.
Whether the chef of the MS Raymonde is active in the kitchen or behind the barbecue, meals are always a great gastronomic moment. The menus often inspired by the regions visited and the wine list drawn up by Serge Dubs, famous sommelier, delight the taste buds.
On the upper deck, the lounge bar, decorated a bit 70s, allows you to meet at any time around a drink to exchange while not losing sight of the landscapes that parade behind the panoramic bays.
All located on the main deck, the 11 double cabins of the MS Raymonde are organized around two single beds.
These 8 m² cabins (11 m² for the PMR cabin) reflect the CroisiEurope standard of comfort: television, reversible air conditioning, safe, internal telephone, 220 V sockets, free Wi-Fi, private bathroom with WC, hair dryer, shower products and towels.
CroisiEurope intends to best respect the landscapes crossed by its ships. Committed to a very concrete development policy, the French company has adopted: hull paint without harmful components, engines to the latest European standards, water-saving devices and a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment system.
In navigation, the sorting of waste is essential and recently, Gas to Liquid, a more ecological synthetic fuel is used to supply the propulsion engines. In fact, CroisiEurope is today one of the most committed shipping companies on the cruise path.
