1-The ship

Built in 1999, the Van Gogh was completely renovated in 2018. It is 110 meters long and 11.1 meters wide and accommodates 54 cabins spread over its 2 decks. This beautiful sailing hotel, run by a crew of 20 people, can accommodate up to 105 passengers. The latest renovation of the MS Van Gogh has enlarged the spaces offered to passengers and brought their decoration up to date.

 

This very successful transformation combined with the excellence of the service on board have earned this ship the award of five anchors (river navigation stars).

 

2-Adult activities and entertainment

The MS Van Gogh offers 3 to 7 day cruises from Chalon-sur-Saône to Arles. The opportunity to discover along the water, from the sun deck of the ship, the landscapes and the hearts of cities of the valleys of the Saône and the Rhône. A gentle trip to take the time to appreciate the shores or the sites visited on an excursion.

 

3-Restaurants, bars and lounges

At the front of the upper deck, the lounge bar is a very pleasant indoor relaxation area. You can enjoy your favorite drink there without losing any of the landscape that passes behind its large bay windows. We also have a lot of fun! Aperitifs, games and gala evenings are organized around and on the beautiful dance floor of this chic and friendly bar.

 

Passengers will find next to the reception a very practical shop to buy souvenirs, postcards and everyday items. Restaurants, bars and lounges Located at the back of the upper deck, the dining room of the MS Van Gogh offers very fine French cuisine. Selected among the best cooks in France, its chef punctually honors the specialties of the cities crossed. Fans will appreciate the quality of the wine list: an exclusive creation by Serge Dubs, best sommelier in the world, for CroisiEurope.

 

At the very front of the same deck, the lounge bar offers a wide choice of sodas, beers, aperitifs, wines and digestives as well as the best teas and coffees.

 

4-Accommodation

The main deck of the MS Van Gogh accommodates 31 double cabins and 1 single cabin with high window while the upper deck offers 19 double cabins and 1 PMR cabin with sliding window and French balcony.

 

These 11 or 15 m² cabins offer reversible air conditioning, a television, an internal telephone, a safe, 220 V sockets, free Wi-Fi, a bathroom with WC, a hair dryer, shower products and towels.

 

5-Environmental protection

CroisiEurope spares no effort to make cruising greener. The MS Van Gogh is equipped with European standard engines, water savers, a waste water treatment system and non-polluting hull paint. Waste is of course sorted to be easily recycled.
