Launched in 2015 by STX France shipyards, the MS Elbe Princesse made its maiden cruise the following year. It is 95.4 meters long and 10.5 meters wide. Its 750 horsepower Volvo engines drive two large paddle wheels.
Her crew includes 24 men and women, specialists in river navigation and the hotel industry.
Its 39 cabins allow the boarding of 79 passengers. Its very refined interior layout earned it the award of five anchors (river navigation stars).
The MS Princess Elbe was designed to sail comfortably between Berlin and Prague. It allows its passengers to discover the Hanseatic cities, an association of merchants from the Middle Ages. The prosperity of these towns in northern Germany and central Europe bequeathed them an exceptional architectural heritage.
The Elbe Valley is also unspoiled nature in which an abundant fauna flourishes. Passengers of the MS Princess Elbe will be able, from the sun deck or the terrace, to admire a myriad of birds: from the imposing wild goose to the elegant crane. In stopover, the proposed excursions reveal the jewels of the city or its surroundings.
On board, passengers can buy their souvenirs from the shop located next to reception and take a few steps on the dance floor in the lounge bar.
The sun deck offers deckchairs and armchairs to combine relaxation and contemplation.
Located on the upper deck, the restaurant offers top-of-the-range gastronomy in a room designed to take nothing away from the landscapes that pass by at mealtimes.
Located at the back of the upper deck, the very chic lounge-bar is the place of conviviality on the ship. We share a drink with family or friends. It is also in this beautiful space that are held the aperitif games and the dance evenings organized with a master hand by the crew.
The MS Elbe Princesse offers 24 cabins, one of which is adapted for people with reduced mobility with a French balcony and sliding panoramic window and 15 cabins with a high-opening window. Like all the rest of the ship, the contemporary decoration of these double cabins creates a very cozy atmosphere.
All the cabins of the MS Elbe Princesse are equipped with reversible air conditioning, a television, an internal telephone, a safe, 220 V sockets, free Wi-Fi, a bathroom water with WC, a hair dryer, a selection of shower products and bathroom linen.
Very committed to the protection of the environment, the CroisiEurope company applies very strict procedures on board its ships to preserve nature.
The MS Elbe Princesse is equipped with economisers which reduce water consumption by more than a third. The company also uses Gas To Liquid (GTL), a synthetic fuel that is much more environmentally friendly than fuel oil.
