1-The ship
On board the Grandeur of the Seas, 12 decks are accessible to passengers. It is a medium-sized ship with 916 feet long and 105 feet wide. Also, it can carry 2,435 passengers and 760 crew members. During the trip, you stay in one of the 902 cabins, 212 of which have a balcony.
2-Adult Entertainment
On the Grandeur of the Seas you enjoy 2 swimming pools, one of which is covered by a glass roof. You also have 4 whirlpools on deck 9, as well as a sauna, steam room, solarium and beauty salon.
For sports, the 39-foot climbing wall on deck 10 is a must, as well as the running track, fitness room and table tennis.
With Royal Caribbean, evening entertainment is varied, with a discotheque, open-air cinema on deck 9, library and card games, duty-free stores at the Centrum Shops... Not to mention the musicals at the huge Palladium Theater, which spans decks 4, 5 and 6, as well as the 6,800-square-foot Casino Royal on deck 5.
3-Children and teen entertainment
Royal Caribbean has set up a daycare service on Grandeur of the Seas, Royal Babies and Tots Nursery for 6/36 months.
The Adventure Ocean (3/11 years old) and New Teen (12/17 years old) clubs offer fun games and activities according to the age of the children and teenagers with sports tournaments, coloring, science experiments, karaoke, video games...
For outdoor games, the little ones can have fun at the wading pool on deck 9 or at the swimming pool. And the Video Arcade is a must!
4-Gastronomy, bars and lounges
On board the Grandeur of the Seas, the main international cuisine restaurant is the Great Gatsby on decks 4 and 5, which can accommodate 1,039 guests. Among the 6 restaurants, Giovanni's Table on deck 6 specializes in Italian cuisine and Izumi on decks 11 and 12 is a renowned Japanese restaurant.
To have a drink with friends or family, the R Bar in the Centrum on deck 4 is very friendly with its 1960's vintage decoration. As for Café Latte-Tudes on deck 6, it is perfect for coffee, pastries and ice cream.
5 -Accommodation on board the Grandeur of the Seas
When booking your cabin on the Grandeur of the Seas, you choose either a queen bed or two twin beds. Also if you want an inside or outside cabin with a porthole or balcony for the sea view.
For added comfort and space, Royal Caribbean offers a choice of suite types, all with balconies and luxurious bedding. Suite guests benefit from concierge service, luggage handling and priority embarkation and disembarkation.
6-Environment
Royal Caribbean founded the Ocean Fund in 1996 to help NGOs preserve the oceans. It also applies the Save the Waves program on all the ships in its fleet to reduce plastics, save water and energy and recycle as much as possible.
