    The 5 things to know about the MS Zaandammis in service in 2000, the cruise ship MS Zaandam is the sistership of MS Steendam. They are part of the Rotterdam class with the Rotterdam. These ships belong to the Holland America Line company. The MS Zaandam owes its name to the homonymous city of the Netherlands. The nine bridges of the MS Zaandam stretch 237 meters long and 32 meters wide. Its capacity of passengers is 1432 and 647 crew members. This boat has 716 cabins on board. Also, the MS Zaandam is decorated on the theme of music. Adults and entertainment in the day, take advantage of sports spaces to maintain the physical form. On bridges 8 and 9, you have a well-equipped fitness room and multisport land (tennis, basketball, ping-pong, giant failures). The two swimming pools are most pleasant with their solarium and the two swirl baths. Just like the Greenhouse Spa & amp; Salon, for guaranteed well-being (massages, treatments, acupuncture, saunas, hammams, beauty salon). Leisure are varied on MS Zaandam with duty-free shops, cooking and computer lessons, Conferences, casino, musical shows, magic tricks and film screenings. Activities and entertainment children are reserved for children on MS Zaandam. The Hal club offers activities for 3/12 years (video games, reading, drawings). And The Loft Lounge is for 13/17 year olds (TV screens, video games, themed evenings). Without forgetting of course the Lido swimming pool for swimming sessions and enjoying the sun. Gastronomy, bars and salons The Holland America Line offers five restaurants to vary the culinary pleasures. The Lido Market, at Pont 8, is a buffet restaurant with a beautiful view of the sea. And the Canaletto serves you excellent Italian dishes and desserts. Sit your favorite drink in one of the different bars and lounges! Ocean Bar on bridge 5 is festive and embellished with a dance track. And the Lido Bar is an outdoor bar in the center of the pool bridge (bridge 8). Hood aboard the MS Zaandamselect the cabin that suits you best between interior, exterior or cabin with balcony. The average surface is 13 to 30 meters². The cabins are elegant and comfortable, equipped with quality bedding, flat screen and DVD player. The suites, a surface of 27 to 120 meters², have a teak balcony, large windows to enjoy the sea, beds Doubles or King Bed bed and a private butler for Neptune suites and Pinnacle suites. Environmental Protection the MS Zaandam is the first ship in the world to have been equipped with a purification system operating in water of sea. This technology makes it possible to capture up to 75% of suffering dioxide and 57% of exhaust gas particles.
