Activities and entertainment
During this trip aboard the MS Richard With, you can attend fascinating conferences with the expedition team. They take place inside, in the conference rooms, and sometimes outside, on the observation deck. These interviews with this team allow you to better understand the different stages of the itinerary, the history, the culture, the fauna and the flora.
The Observation Deck, deck 7, is also perfect for contemplating the coasts of Norway and the beauty of the landscapes with the fjords and the islands.
To maintain your physical fitness, the fitness room on deck 7 allows you to do exercises (rowing machines, weights, treadmill).
And you can relax with the whirlpool baths and the sauna. The ship also has a library and a shop (souvenirs, clothes).
Gastronomy, bars and lounges
On board the MS Richard With, you can vary the meal setting with three restaurants.
The main Torget dining room, with large bay windows, allows you to eat with a view of the sea.
The Krysten is a refined à la carte restaurant and allows you to taste fresh seafood, for example.
The Bistro is suitable for a quick snack and the Multe pastry shop offers pastries and ice creams.
The Explorer Lounge Bar, at the front of deck 7, is a pleasant panoramic bar, perfect for enjoying a good drink while admiring the landscape.

For this cruise aboard the MS Richard With, you have the choice between economy, intermediate cabins or suites.
The interior and exterior Polar cabins (7 to 13 m²) are equipped with separate beds, bunk beds or a double bed, as well as a porthole for the exteriors.
The category of Arctic Superior cabins are more comfortable and larger (8 to 20 square meters), with a porthole for the view of the sea.
And for an ideal trip, the Expedition suites are perfect (15 to 30 m²) with a double bed and particularly neat decoration.
Environment
The Hurtigruten company has retrofitted all of its ships with shore power. This method makes it possible to massively reduce CO2 emissions and NOx emissions. She also wants to ban the use of heavy fuel oil in Arctic waters.
In addition, in order to preserve the environment, Hurtigruten has removed single-use plastic packaging from all ships in its fleet (shower gel and soap dispensers, water bottles, cutlery, etc.).
To replace the water bottles, the company offers passengers a water bottle that they can fill during the cruise at the ship's water dispensers.
