The Royal Clipper, commissioned in 2001, sails for the Star Clippers company . It is the third boat in the fleet along with the Star Flyer and the Star Clipper . The Royal Clipper is an imposing sailboat, inspired by the legendary German ship the Preussen. The Royal Clipper appears in the Guinness World Records as the largest rigged cruising sailboat.

This magnificent sailboat stands out with its 5 masts with 42 square sails, representing an area of 5000 square meters. With a height of 4 bridges, it stretches over 134 meters long and 16 meters wide. As for its draft, it is 5.6 meters. The service is provided on board by 106 crew members, and it can carry 227 passengers. The Royal Clipper combines comfort, modernity and elegance. Among other things, he makes trips to the Caribbean islands and the Mediterranean Sea.
The Sun deck, covered with teak, offers a vast space of 1760 m², decorated with three swimming pools and deckchairs to better appreciate the landscapes and relax in the sun.
To pursue well-being, go down to the Commodore deck to try the treatments at the Captain Nemo Spa and Lounge (treatments, massages and two steam baths). It also has portholes with a seabed!
Also in the Captain Nemo area, you can keep fit in the gym (elliptical trainers, treadmills, weight machines).
As for lovers of nautical activities, they will be delighted with the possibility of diving, kayaking, water skiing...
During the stopovers, exciting excursions will be offered. And during the crossing, the library decorated in an Edwardian style is relaxing and allows you to borrow books, play chess or board games.
The Clipper Dining Room is on the Commodore Deck. You take the three daily meals there, in the form of a buffet in the morning and at noon and in table service in the evening. The gastronomy is refined on board, inspired by local dishes or international cuisine.
The three bars/lounges are located on the main deck. The Tropical Bar serves cocktails, beers and spirits in the open air and in the evening turns into a disco. The Piano Bar is perfect for relaxing with your favorite drink in comfortable armchairs with pleasant background music. And at the front of the main deck, the Observation Lounge is ideal for admiring the view of the sea.
For this cruise aboard the Royal Clipper you have several categories of cabins: interior (10 m²) or exterior with sea view (11 to 13 m²). They are equipped with twin beds, double or triple beds.
If you have the budget, treat yourself to a luxury suite like the Armateur suite. Covering an area of 40 square metres, it has a king-size bed, a whirlpool bath, a lounge and room service.
The Star Clippers company has signed the "Cruise Charter" with the city of Cannes. Thus, it undertakes to carry out cruises that respect the environment. Moreover, the navigation of its ships is carried out in large part with sails, a technique that is particularly ecological.
