The Pride of America is a medium-sized vessel, 121 feet wide and 922 feet long. The 2,186 passengers have access to 11 decks, and are accompanied during the cruise by 927 crew members.
During the day, enjoy two outdoor pools: the South Beach on Deck 11, with its 4 whirlpool baths, and the Oasis Pool on Deck 12.
Enjoy a sporting activity between two ports of call! You can choose between the fitness room, the running track, the multi-sports field and golf.
Before you head off to the duty-free stores, take a wellness break at the spa, with its wide range of treatments, sauna, hammam and beauty salon. In the evening, the American ambience of the 880-seat Hollywood Theater will enchant you with musicals inspired by Las Vegas, Broadway and Hollywood shows.
Vary your entertainment with Mardi Gras Cabaret Lounge & Nightclub, card room, art gallery or library.
On board the Pride of America, Norwegian Cruise Line offers the Spash Academy club for 3/12 year-olds, with a variety of games and crafts.
Little ones aged 6 months to 3 years are welcome at the Guppies daycare center.
And the Teen Club with jukebox, sports activities, games and evening disco is reserved for 13/17 year-olds. On deck 13, the Blast Off is a great video games room.
And the Kid's Pool on Deck 12 is just the thing for little ones.
Pride of America's 13 restaurants offer a wide variety of dishes and culinary delights.
The Cadillac Diner plunges you into the vintage atmosphere of America. And Skyline, the main restaurant, offers a beautiful view of the sea. As for Cagney's Steakhouse, you can order excellent Angus grills.
You'll also have a great time in the dozen or so bars and lounges. Aloha Lanai Bar, Bar Ocean Drive and Bar Waikiki are perfect for soaking up the sun with a delicious cocktail. And Gold Rush Saloon is a pleasant wine and beer bar.
For your cruise aboard the Pride of America in Hawaiian waters, you can choose between studio, inside, outside, balcony, family or suite cabins.
Suites offer spaciousness and luxury, with concierge and butler service. Suites and studios have king-size beds, and cabins have twin beds that can be converted into a queen-size bed.
Norwegian Cruise Line is ISO 14 001 accredited, proving that it is committed to respecting the environment. It applies on-board rules to minimize waste, particularly single-use plastic bottles, and is a partner of several ocean preservation foundations.
An ode to America and its culture
Launched in 2005, the Pride of America is a modern, luxurious vessel that can accommodate 2,138 passengers. At 919 feet long and 105 feet wide, she sails year-round to Honolulu in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The ship's hull is strikingly shaped, and the fresco on the bow features an impressive red and blue American eagle. On the eleven decks accessible to the public, the Pride of America promotes a Hawaiian and exotic ambiance, while celebrating the best of American history, whether in its shows or its dining venues. Convenient to access, the ship also offers panoramic bays on all decks to appreciate the charm of the place and the beauty of the sea. The very best in cruise facilities is on offer, allowing you to immerse yourself in American culture and its most interesting representations.
The Pride of America breathes America, and most of its facilities prove it. Nineteen restaurants offer typical Hawaiian cuisine, such as the Aloha Café (deck 11), where the buffet is served in a décor of pirogues and Polynesian sculptures. The Cadillac Diner (deck 6) is a haven for '50s America, offering woks, pies and burgers served in car seats to the sound of rock'n'roll music. The gastronomy of the rest of the world is revealed on Deck 5 in the East Meats West, where you can enjoy Asian fusion cuisine in a sober, zen decor. The bars are not to be outdone, offering the best of America. The Aloha Lanoi bar (deck 13) and the Waikiki bar transport you to a beach paradise with cocktails as exotic as the Mai Tai or the Polynesian, while the Entourage (deck 12) features table soccer, a field hockey table and a dance floor for teenagers. Before heading off to the Hollywood theater (deck 5), which mimics Broadway or Las Vegas, enjoy a taste of Wild West America at the Cold Rush saloon (deck 11), or tantalize your taste buds with French specialties at the Bistro Jefferson (deck 5). In the evening, the Mardi Gras Cabaret discotheque on Deck 6 is inspired by the liveliest carnivals of New Orleans, while during the day you can relax at the spa, in the pool (Deck 12), or in the video game rooms (Deck 13). The bravest among you can head to the sports courts on deck 14 for a game of basketball, or to the jogging track (deck 6) for a little warm-up.
