1-The ship

The ship is 170 meters long and has a width of 26 meters. She has a cruising speed of 16 knots thanks to her twin 10,000 horsepower engines, allowing her to reach a top speed of 19 knots during the summer months when the water is calmest. The boat has 132 cabins which can accommodate up to 264 people.

 

2-Activities and entertainment for adults

The Seabourn Venture offers a wide range of activities for adults, including a casino, nightly shows in the theatre, a piano bar and several bars and lounges. There is also an outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi, as well as a well-equipped fitness center.

 

3-Activities and entertainment for children and teenagers

The ship offers activities and entertainment for kids and teens, including an outdoor play area, Xbox 360s, PlayStation 4s and a movie theater.

 

4-Restaurants, bars and lounges

The ship offers three main dining venues: The Grill by Thomas Keller, which serves steaks, chops and seafood; The Restaurant, which offers refined French cuisine; and The Colonnade, which is a casual buffet spot serving international cuisine. There are also several other small restaurants and cafes on board that offer different menus.

 

5-The cabins aboard the Seabourn Venture

The ship's luxurious suites include features such as king size beds, marble bathrooms with Jacuzzis and large verandas. Some suites even have their own private dining room. All cabins and suites include a mini-bar, bathrobes and slippers, in-room safe and free WiFi.

 

6-Responsible tourism

For its cruises on the Amazon River, Seabourn ships are certified by National Geographic and comply with ISO 14001 standards (environmentally friendly organization) and SA 8000 requirements (social responsibility). The cruise line also has a list of commitments to environmental protection such as reducing energy consumption, recycling and using biodegradable materials.
