Environment
Since 1932, the Norwegian company HX-Expeditions has been taking readings of water temperatures and salinity levels, but also on the modification of algae. These surveys are carried out in collaboration with the Norwegian institutes for water research and marine research.
Also, in certain regions such as Svalbard, for example, HX-Expeditions participates in a project to list the marine mammals of the Arctic.
In addition, the company has modernized all the ships in its fleet by adapting them to shore electricity. This method significantly reduces NOx and CO2 emissions.
